DINO CLAVICA

From 7th October to 23rd October 2021 – Spazio Murat, Bari

Dino Clavica (Rome, May 17, 1976 – Bari, December 5, 2019) was an Artist. Originally from Francavilla Fontana (Br), he moved to Bari in the 1990s for his university studies. Ingenious with his ability to create works using only his inseparable iPhone and his index finger, according to a complex technique and meticulous rigor, framing himself in the current of the so-called “finger painting.” In 2016, together with Mario Brambilla he produced the exhibition “The Little Black Man” and in 2017 “The Rule and the Case.”

For the first time in his artistic production, one hand drew, the other told itself. Left Hand is the latest series of works Dino has been able to devote himself to. Thirty works and videos, the exhibition set up in the Spacio Murat, Bari, from 7th October to 23rd October 2021, produced by the Veluvre association, from which he was president and founding member.

Spazio Murat is one of the most appreciated cultural spaces in the city of Bari, dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of contemporary arts. It is located in  Piazza Ferrarese, a point of contact between the old town and the modern suburb. Spazio Murat has a rich program of events with a focus on visual arts and design. It hosts exhibitions, meetings, workshops and the Puglia Design Store concept store, where Dino Clavica’s works have long been on display.
