Kia Design told its story through the “Opposites United” exhibition at the Museo della Permanente in Milan during Design Week. Kia focuses not so much on its own philosophy, but on a specific theme, taking on the role of a container for various artistic expressions. The exhibition features a collaboration between performers, artists, and organizers, creating a cohesive experience. On the ground floor, Kia creations blend with the artistic installations, while on the first floor, there will be talk shows and live performances.
1 . Entrance > Sissel Tolaas > ‘De-Authoritative’
The scents of Sissel Tolaas guide visitors from the outside to the heart of the Museum, moving away from the approach of the art gallery and showing the courage to adopt an authoritative stance, breaking down spatial restrictions and boundaries.

2 . Corridor > Nerdy Artist Union > ‘The Footstep’
A corridor is recreated, a passage through several installations that trace Kia’s past creations through a series of displays. A true accompaniment to Kia’s next steps, towards the future, towards unknown generations and spaces.

3 . Room A > Anna Galtarossa > ‘Reality/Reality: An immagination Beyond Boundaries’
Handwoven sculptures made from a combination of soft and colorful materials create a spiritual form unique to the artist, a carnival born from her utopian imagination.

4 . Room B > Ricardo Benassi > ‘Essential: A courage to Progress’
The artist Ricardo Benassi, in this space, unlike the usual use of LEDs or digital media to implement virtual reality, presents a work made of elements that reflect the messages of real life. It consists of a combination of LED curtains, a double-sided curved display, and audio.

5 . Main room > Ledpulse > ‘A boiling point: A movement for movement’
This is the beating heart of the exhibition. A passage that surrounds an inner core: the first consisting of KIA’s video works, which, reflecting through mirrors, expand endlessly. In the inner core resides a large aerial installation that, through the interaction of hardware, software, and content, interacts with some musical performances. This space, symbolizing the infinite possibilities achieved through harmony, is a place where the future of Kia Design resides, the focal point of the transition towards a grand theme, Cultural Avant-Garde.
